Roman Ancient Coin Mint State Jovian Bronze 363 AD WDED-58

Roman Ancient Coin Mint State Jovian Bronze 363 AD WDED-58

$275.00

Here is a Roman Bronze from 363 or 364 AD. This is an exceptional find, since it is fully Mint State grade. This is the reduced follis of the Jovian reign, and most likely made at the Sirmium Mint. Jovian facing right on obverse. Reverse has customary wreath design. This coin is about the size of the US dime. This coin shows a quite regular planchet, not that commonly seen. An off center strike affects the mint mark and parts of the design. An exceptionally nice coin that would make a centerpiece addition to an early Roman Type set. Thank you for looking, we appreciate your interest. Enjoy! WDED-58
