Here is an 1857 Flying Eagle Cent. These are made of copper nickel, and are as thick as a nickel, but the diameter of the cent. This is the type of 1856 large letters variety, with the joined AM letters. This is a recognized Cherry Pickers Variety for this coin. We grade this Fine, cleaned. Moderate wear seen, with a little wear on upper wings, and on eagle's breast and tail on the obverse. A few marks in fields, but none are detracting. Considerable wear on leaves and ribbon bow on reverse. Darker striped color around ONE CENT. A coin for the variety collector. Thanks for looking. Enjoy! WDED-18
