Here is an 1822 Coronet Head Large Cent. This coin has full rims and denticles on both obverse and reverse. We grade this as Fine 15 grade. Original color on chocolate brown surfaces, with nice eye appeal. LIBERTY is bold, with moderate wear on hair details. Stars are only moderately worn. The date is bold. Customary small marks found, with a few found on Liberty’s neck and cheek, as well as several in the fields. None are detracting. Flatness to rim noted at 3 o’clock. On the reverse, the wreath leaf details are moderately worn. Customary small marks noted, with some small rim bumps. No spots found. A pleasing, original coin that would be a good choice for a type coin, or a nice addition to a Large Cent set. Thanks for looking. Enjoy! WDED-09
