Here is a vintage Elgin Hunting Case pocket watch in a Philadelphia Watch Case Co. 20 year gold filled case. This watch is fully wound, and is not running. Balance wheel turns, but will not tick. This is a size 0 watch which is 30 mm. Stem wind and stem set. Made at the end of 1914 with serial number 18327756. The 60 minute enamel dial is in excellent condition, with only a few spots noted from age. The seconds bit is at the customary 6 o’clock position. There is no crystal, but the bezel is there. This watch shows no wear-through, with fancy engraving on the outer front and back leaves. This watch has only been opened only a few times, and the hinges are still stiff. The movement is Elgin, and not marked as to jewels, which is customarily 7 jewels. The inner case surfaces are bright and show no wear-through. Thanks for looking. Enjoy. We buy these watches as we sell them, so they are sold as described, and are not returnable for any reason. WDEW-01
