Here is a vintage Elgin open face pocket watch, on a Forster clip and chain that is 9 inches long. This is in a Keystone white base metal case. This watch winds but is not currently running. The balance wheel turns, but will not keep ticking (probably just needs cleaning). This is a size 16 watch which is 43 mm. Stem wind and stem set. Made in early 1907 with serial number 12889794. The 60 minute enamel dial is in good condition, with an array of cracks noted from the seconds bit on left to the rim on left, with chips noted on upper left of seconds bit. The crystal is excellent, with no cracks or scratches noted. Seconds bit at 6 o'clock. This watch shows customary wear on the rims and the back cover. The movement is Elgin, 15 jewels and safety pinion. Bar and shield engraving on back cover. Thanks for looking. Enjoy. We buy these watches as we sell them, so they are sold as described, and are not returnable for any reason. WDEW-09
