Antique American Waltham 1907 Hunting Case Pocket Watch Runs ETC10131

1 in stock

Here is a huge American Waltham gold filled 18 size (over 2 inches across) pocket watch serial #15784968 The movement is a model 1883 that was made in 1907. The watch is an old full plate 17 jewel swing out lever set nickel movement in a 14K 20-year gold filled Philadelphia watch case. I see wear (gold fill wearing off) on the watch case. On the dial I see a tiny chip at 9 o’clock in the watch dial right at the edge which does not affect the performance of the watch. It can only be seen when you take the front cover off to use the lever set feature to set the time on the watch. This movement swings out on a henge from inside the gold-filled watch case. You have to be careful when you swing it out to look at the movement. You have to poll the stem top out ever so slightly without removing it from the body of the watchcase to get the movement to swing out. Just watch an on video to see how to do it. The watch is in good restorable condition and can be used just as it is… The mechanical (winding type) (117) year old watch winds, runs and keeps accurate time over the 24 hours I timed it.. Note: carrying or wearing these types of mechanical watches helps keeps them running on time. ..We sell these items as they are and as you see them with some dirt, minor marks or minor damage from use (as is). Please look over the pics. We are PCGS, NGC and CAC authorized dealers and guarantee that these items are genuine and as described. NOTE: there is an old 1935 US $1 silver certificate dollar bill note included with this lot.
