Antique American Waltham Fancy Dial Pocket Watch Runs ETC10141

Here is an old Fancy dial American Waltham gold filled pocket watch serial #5999509. The movement is a model 1888 that was made in 1893. The 16-size watch (about 2 inches across) is a 3/4 plate 11 jewel stem set movement in a 14K gold filled Fahys Monarch watch case. There is a really cool advertisement in the inside back movement cover. I see wear (gold fill wearing off) on the watch case and several hairline cracks in the watch dial which does not affect the performance of the watch. The watch is in good restorable condition and can be used just as it is. The mechanical (winding type) (131) year old watch winds, runs and keeps accurate time over the 24 hours I timed it. Note: carrying or wearing these types of mechanical watches helps keeps them running on time.
