This is an antique 1800s mourning pendant. This piece would have housed an intricate braid of hair from the deceased. This pendant hangs 1 5/8" long and is 1 1/2" wide. It is attached to a heavy brass chain that rose gold colored flowers all along it. This is an awesome, unique chain! The chain measures 19 1/2" long x 3/8" wide. There is an additional section of chain that could attach to a small pocket watch. This piece of chain measures 1 5/8" long. All 3 pieces are attached to a large spring ring clasp.
This is an antique, previously owned pendant & chain. Therefore, light wear can be expected. There is no visible damage.
