This is an antique sterling silver compartment locket pendant. The lid has a monogram of a large G with interlocking A, M & D letters in a medium size. The locket measures 24mm in diameter. It is dented on the upper left side of the lid, the edge of the lid and the edge of the base below it. This does not affect the opening or closing of the lid. It is stamped STERLING on the inside of the lid. The compartment is approximately 5mm deep. The back of the locket is engraved “Oct 3 1914”. Total weight is 5.4 grams.
This is an antique, previously owned locket. Therefore, light antique wear can be expected.
