Here is a rare, very lightly used condition, 15 jewel Rockford O size (over 1 5/8 inches across) pocket watch produced in 1905. The serial number is 653441. The watch is bigger than a Kennedy half dollar. It is called a hunting case type pendant watch. The 25-year gold-filled watchcase has a bird and flowers engraved on the case. Condition wise, all (3) hinged openings are tight and open at 45 degrees which indicates the watch was used very little. There were only 14,800 of this grade and model produced making it rare in this condition. The mechanical (winding type) watch winds, runs and keeps accurate time over the 24 hours I timed it.
