Here is a 1924 Standing Liberty Quarter. One of the scarcer "Type Two" coins, with the date on the raised pedestal, which was very subject to wear. This is a pleasing coin from this classic and beautiful series of coins. We grade this coin a Fine. Many of these early date type two coins have only survived in grades below Fine – and this one is a full Fine. Moderate wear noted, with the date weak but readable. All details of shield and Liberty show wear, but chain-mail over Liberty’s breasts and many of the rivets in the shield are found. No marks or spots found on pleasing original surfaces. On the reverse, there is moderate wear on the eagle's wings. Many of the inner wing detail noted in the eagle. A pleasing coin to start or add to your mid-grade set of these beautiful coins. Enjoy! Thanks for looking; we are grateful. WDED-43
