Here is one of the select coins from one of our special buying trips. The attractive high eye appeal and surfaces of these rather unique coins are of superior quality for the assigned grade. In our searches at the numerous coin shows we attend, we buy only 2 out of 100 of the coins we look at. So what you are getting is the cream of the cream from a wise and discerning eye. All of these coins we would buy for our own collections, so keep in mind that each coin offered here has to get past our eyes before it gets to yours. Enjoy!
This selection is an 1884-O Morgan Silver Dollar, certified by PCGS as MS 64 (Mint State 64, or Very Choice BU). The obverse on this coin has deep purple peripheral toning, shading down the coin to deep golden color at the bottom. A very eye-appealing coin to please the toned collector quite well, and be a stand-out star of your Morgan Dollar collection. Then there is the cartwheeling luster adding to the eye-appeal. The reverse of this coin is original white at the top, with golden toning shading to purple peripheral toning at the bottom -- and also cartwheeling luster. This coin is mostly mark-free, with a few small marks in fields and on devices, but none are detracting. A strong strike to the breast feathers of the eagle. A very pleasing, original, stand-out coin. Very eye appealing Toned BU grade, with beautiful toning, strongest on the obverse. A coin for the discriminating collector. Thanks for looking. Enjoy.
